OUR NATURAL FIBERS
We work with natural fibers such as alpaca and pima cotton, selected for their durability, performance, and responsible origin. These materials allow us to create enduring pieces while supporting sustainable practices. We are committed to sourcing 100% local fibers, to reduce our carbon footprint by minimizing the need for international transport.
ALPACA
Native to the Peruvian Andes, alpacas have been breed for millennia by highland communities. Thriving at altitudes between 3,500 and 4,800 meters, in extreme environments marked by significant temperature variations.
These conditions yield a fiber that is lightweight, highly insulating, and resilient, providing warmth while remaining breathable. Naturally hypoallergenic, low in lanolin, defined by a smooth structure, reducing irritation and ensuring comfort, even for sensitive skin.
Beyond its quality, Alpaca is recognized globally for its sustainability. Unlike other livestock, alpacas are gentle grazers; they do not uproot vegetation, helping to preserve the Andean ecosystem and prevent soil erosion.
BABY ALPACA
Contrary to its name, denotes a standard of fineness, not age. Selected for its superior softness and lightness, it provides an ideal balance of comfort, thermal insulation, and durability. This noble material combines a refined touch with natural resilience.
SURI ALPACA
Suri Alpaca is one of the most exclusive alpaca varieties. Its a long, smooth, and silky fiber, distinguished by a natural luster and fluid drape. We reserve this exclusive material for iconic and timeless pieces with exceptional visual elegance.
PIMA COTTON
Cultivated in Peru’s fertile valleys, our Pima Cotton benefits from ideal growing conditions and a rich agricultural heritage.
Its extra-long fibers guarantees superior softness, strength, resulting in pieces that retain their shape and sheen over time.
Breathable and naturally comfortable, this fiber is the cornerstone of our knitwear line, specifically our t-shirts and refined basics.
